The Staff

661 VGS has a dedicated, hardworking team of staff, from the executives responsible for the management of the school, to the Instructors and Staff Cadets who make up the majority of the staff.
The executives include the Squadron CO and his deputy, responsible for overseeing the running of the school and the Chief Flying Instructor, who ensures that all staff are up to the rigorous standards set by the Air Cadet Organisation. The Training Officer oversees all training on the ground and the Engineering Officer is responsible for ensuring that the aircraft we fly are in good condition. Other instructors on the school fulfil roles ranging from Flight Safety to IT management.
The Staff Cadets assist in the running of the school, helping the instructors to maintain the facilities. Together the staff of 661 work hard to ensure that those who come to fly have the best possible experience and will hopefully be inspired to further their flying careers.
